Hello!
My name is Anna Christine Goode. My middle name is important to me because it is part of my identity as a child of God. I was always raised in a Christian home but I walked away from God for a time.  I was not heading the right direction (I was not really depressed but it was something of the sort) but thankfully I was turned back to Him before I did anything I would regret.  Since then, Christine has really become part of who I am.  That’s just the REALLY short version of my story.  I look forward to being able to tell you the whole story.
Anyway, I am a sophomore and 15 (I’ll be 16 by the trip).  I live in Gainesville, GA about 20 minutes from the AIM base where training camp will be.  My dad works for AIM and that is actually why we moved here.  I can’t wait to tell that story either.  I live with my parents and little sister, Sophie, who is 12. I love to play piano and sing.  I wish i could bring a piano but i don’t think that would go over so well at the airport. πŸ˜› I love all of God’s creation and I’m awed by it again every day.  I especially love stars and waterfalls.  Similarly to many of you, i also like photography.  I am mostly outgoing I think.  I usually am quieter when I first meet people and when I am with quiet people though.  I don’t play any sports. I was never really into that, nor was i by any standard good at them.  I love my friends more than anything else in the world.  I would risk my life any day for one of them.  I’ve been to Nicaragua twice with my family and I can’t wait to go with all of you!
God has given me a gift to love people and see them the way He does.  I am also, to an extent, able to feel what they feel, and therefore be better able to pray for them.  I have to work, though, to take the time out of my day to read His word.  I am also pretty shy about witnessing to people with words.
Look forward to being able to meet you all in person in June! πŸ™‚

  1. I’m so happy to hear your story. I’m not sure if you remember, but my husband and I came to your parent’s house last February when the Kayes were in town. We love your Dad, and can’t wait to get to know you better on this trip.

  4. These blogs can be tricky tricksters. πŸ™‚ Try this:

Under the “Main Menu” on the left, click on “Editor Log In” and log in using the information AIM gave you. That should bring you to the page with a list of current blog posts. To the right of the heading “Blog Posts” is a link for a new post, or you can click on the greenish button near the top of the screen.
