My name is Lauren White. I live in Greenville (actually Greer), SC. I am 15 years old and finishing my freshman year at Eastside High School. I attend Grace Baptist Chuch in Taylors, SC. I became a Christian on September 21, 2002 when I was seven. About 5 months ago I was baptized at my church. I have grown up in a Christian home and also attended a Christian Elementary/Middle School. I am very excited about this trip, and thrilled to see how God will teach me through the kids in Nicaragua. I am hopeful He will use me to show the love of Christ to these kids. I hope that through the different conditions we will face, God will teach me to do hard things for Him, and to go outside of my comfort zone even when it is difficult and challenging. I am looking forward to this trip and to meeting all of you.
